Ameen Ali Abu-Hashem obtained his PhD in Organic Chemistry
from the Faculty of Science of Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2008. He is
currently working as a Professor at the Department of Photochemistry, Chemical
Industrial Division, National Research Centre (Giza, Egypt), and a Professor of
Organic Chemistry at the Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. His current research
interest covers the development of synthetic methodologies for preparing biologically interesting heterocyclic compounds. He has published more than 75 papers to date.
Yousef E. Mukhrish graduated from the College of Applied.
Sciences, Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He received his M.Sc.
in Chemistry from Emporia State University (Emporia, KS, USA) in 2016 and a
Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the School of Life Sciences, University of
Sussex (Brighton, UK), in 2021. He is currently working as an Assistant
Professor in Chemistry at the College of Science, Jazan University, Saudi
Arabia. His expertise is in synthesis, organic synthesis,
compounds, synthetic organic chemistry, and natural product chemistry.
Dr Ahmed AM
Abdelgawad is an assistant professor at the Department
of Chemistry, the College of Science, Jazan University (KSA). He completed his MSc
and PhD studies in Organic Chemistry at the Zagazig
University (Egypt, 2007 and 2013). He has published 35 papers
in various journals. His teaching disciplines include phytochemistry
and organic chemistry, and his interests include natural
products, organic synthesis, and pharmaceutical aspects.
