Dr. Wei-Lin Jin is a Professor at Lanzhou University. He received his Ph.D. and M.D. degree at the Fourth Military Medical University, where he was followed by famous neurobiologist Prof. Gong Ju, a CAS member. In 2006, he joined the Institute of Neurosciences at Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an Associate Professor. In 2021, he was recruited to Lanzhou University. His lab is focused on the molecular mechanisms of axon regeneration, tumor epigenetics, and cancer neuroscience. As a PI, Dr. Jin has been rewarded four grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in the last five years. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, and their findings have been published in some important professional journals, such as Cell, Nature Communications, Trends Pharmocol Sci, Cancer Res, Cell Death and Differentiation, Biomaterials, Protein & Cell, Pharmacology & Therapeutics, and Trends in Cancer. Dr. Jin is the editorial member for Advanced Biology and Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment and the review expert for various international journals, including Nature Biotechnology, Biomaterials, Molecular Therapy, and Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy. Dr. Jin is also a committee member of the China Anti-Cancer Association and Chinese Neuroscience Society. His research keywords include tumor microenvironment, cancer neuroscience, drug repurposing, microbiota medicine, and neurodegeneration.
