Li Guo is a professor at State Key Laboratory of Organic Electronics and Information Displays & Institute of Advanced Materials (IAM), Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. She earned her doctorate at Southeast University in 2011. She mainly engages in research related to biomedical informatics and systems biology: (1) integrating multiple omics data to study the transcriptional regulatory mechanisms of complex disease occurrence and development processes; (2) mining the crosstalk and regulatory patterns of ncRNA in complex diseases; (3) research on potential drug targets based on synthetic lethal strategies. In recent years, she has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Key R&D Program of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Department.
Tingming Liang is an associate professor at the School of Life Sciences, Nanjing Normal University. He earned his PhD at the School of Life Science, Nanjing Normal University (2011). His research interests include cell biology, pathophysiology, systems biology, the regulation of non-coding RNAs (including microRNAs and lncRNAs) in complex diseases, especially metabolic diseases, and the study of dataset integration at the systems level, using bioinformatics, biostatistics, and systems biology methods.
