Dr.Mattia Bartoli is working as a Postdoc at the Fondazione Istitiuto Italiano di Tecnologia and he has been an Adjunct Professor in Chemistry at Politecnico di Torino since 2021. He has published more than a hundred papers (H index 28) and he is a fellow of several international scientific societies.
Alberto Tagliaferro received an M.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Polytechnic University of Turin. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT), Polytechnic University of Turin, as well as an Adjunct Professor at OntariotechU and the Head of the Carbon Group. He has published more than 200 papers in international journals and he is the Chair of the Education Committee of the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique, and Applications (IUVSTA).
Daniele Torsello is a Research Fellow in the Superconductivity and Magnetism—Material Engineering by Swift Heavy ions group at the Department of Applied Science and Technology, Polytechnic University of Turin. He completed his Ph.D. at the Polytechnic University of Turin and his M.Sc. at the University of Turin. Before his current role, he was a Visiting Researcher at Iowa State University in 2019 and a Research Assistant at the University of Augsburg and Ludwig Maximilian University in 2014.
Carlo Rosso is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMEAS), Polytechnic University of Turin. He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer at the Polytechnic University of Turin in 2001 and completed a Ph.D. in Machine Design and Construction from Polytechnic University of Turin in 2005. His main research topics focus on the dynamics of mechanical components with particular attention to the gears and the metal replacement in the automotive industry. In particular, he is focused on the design and life assessment of gearbox components with an emphasis on gears and bearings.
