Mr. Sachin B. Chougule currently serves as the Director
(Research and Development) at Rubiscape Pvt. Limited in Pune, Maharashtra,
India, bringing with him two decades of valuable industry experience. Actively
engaged in advancing the research and development of data science products, he
is concurrently pursuing an MTech in eMobility from MIT World Peace University,
India, having previously earned a BE in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji
University, India. Mr. Chougule is the innovative data science product creator
and a seasoned technocrat who excels at harnessing the power of data to create
transformative solutions. Known for his unique combination of creativity,
technical proficiency, and intellectual acumen, he excels in driving innovation
in the dynamic realm of data science. Mr. Chougule is recognized as a visionary
who consistently generates unconventional ideas challenging the status quo. His
capacity to envision future possibilities and strategically navigate towards
those visions is a notable aspect of his professional profile. Research-wise,
his interests span a wide spectrum, including Software Architectures,
Artificial Intelligence, Tiny ML, among others.
Bharat S. Chaudhari received the BE in
Industrial Electronics from Amravati University in 1989 and then ME in
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and PhD in Engineering from
Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 1993 and 2000, respectively. After being
a Full Professor in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with the Pune
Institute of Computer Technology, and the Dean and Principal of the
International Institute of Information Technology, Pune, he joined MIT World
Peace University (then MIT Pune) Pune, as a Professor in 2014. Currently, he
is serving as Dean—Academics and Head of the School of Electrical Engineering.
With 32 years of experience in teaching and research, he has authored more than
98 research papers in the field of wireless, telecom, and optical networks
edited several conference proceedings, and authored three books. His research
interests include low-power wide-area networks, the Internet of Things, wireless
sensor networks, and Si-Photonics.
Dr. Sheetal N. Ghorpade holds the position of Director (Data
Sciences) at Rubiscape Pvt. Limited in Pune, Maharashtra, India, actively
contributing to the research and development of data science projects and
products. She earned her PhD in Applied Mathematics and MSc in Mathematics from
the University of Pune, India. Additionally, she serves as a Regular Associate
(Visiting Scientist) at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical
Physics in Trieste, Italy. Dr. Ghorpade’s career is characterized by a harmonious blend of data analytics
and internationally collaborative research, particularly focusing on algorithms
and optimization for industry-related challenges. Her research interests
encompass Optimization Techniques, Artificial Intelligence, and Tiny ML, among
others. Notably, she plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academia
and industry and is deeply committed to democratizing data science. Dr.
Ghorpade also serves on the advisory boards of various engineering and
management institutes.
Dr. Marco Zennaro is a research scientist at the Abdus Salam
International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, where he
coordinates the Science, Technology, and Innovation Unit. He received his Ph.D.
from the KTH-Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and his MSc degree in
Electronic Engineering from the University of Trieste. He has organized more
than 30 training activities on IoT in Developing Countries. He is a Visiting
Professor at the Kobe Institute of Computing (KIC) in Kobe, Japan, and is the
TinyML4D Chair and Academic Network Co-Chair of the TinyMLedu initiative. His
research interest is in ICT4D, the use of ICT for Development, and in
particular, he investigates the use of the Internet of Things for Development
(#IoT4D).
