Dr. Xiaoting Wang is a PhD at the Department
of Critical Care Medicine, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Peking Union
Medical College & Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in China. In 2007, he
first carried out clinical and scientific research of critical ultrasound
in the field of critical medicine in China and received relevant training and
certification at Harvard Medical School in the United States in 2009, then
actively organized relevant international and domestic exchanges and
cooperation. He participated in preparing international guidelines for the
application of critical cardiac ultrasound. In 2013, he led the establishment
of the critical Ultrasound Research Group (Critical Care Ultrasound Study
Group, CCUSG) in China, the first to put forward and establish a complete
critical ultrasound training system in China. In 2016, he held the first China
critical ultrasound academic annual meeting in Chengdu. In the same year, the
critical E College, China’s first critical medicine training and development
organization, was established in Beijing, and the different systems of severe
subspecialty and subspecialty were first proposed. He has 207 publications with
2261 citations and an h-index of 22 (Scopus, 25 October 2023).
