Francisco Humberto Xavier-Júnior is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the Federal University of Paraíba (CCS/DCF/UFPB). He is a Professor of the Graduate Program in Natural and Synthetic Bioactive Products (PPGPNSB/UFPB). He holds a degree in Pharmacy from UFRN (2008), a Master's Degree in Health Sciences from UFRN (2011), and his PhD in Biotechnology from UFRN (Brazil) and Innovation thérapeutique-Université Paris-Sud (France) in co-tutela (Capes-Cofecub); he earned a post-doctorate in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology (PPGNANO-UFPE) and Translational Medicine (UCL-School of Pharmacy, London-UK). He has experience in the area of Pharmacy, with an emphasis on biotechnological products, acting mainly on the following topics: biotechnology, nanotechnology, natural products, biomolecule vectorization, and biomolecular interaction. He is also developing phase III clinical studies on the efficacy, immunogenicity, and safety of vaccines.

Éverton do Nascimento Alencar holds a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), MBA in Pharmaceutical and Industrial Quality Management Audit from Faculdade Iguaçu, Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences UFRN, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology from UFRN with 2 years of research experience at the University of Iowa. He completed a Post-Doc  in Health Sciences and a Post-Doc in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology. He was a Professor of Compounding, Pharmaceutical Operations, and Pharmaceutical Technology at UFRN. He is currently a Permanent Professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul-UFMS, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Pharmaceutical Technology. He has research experience in the area of nanotechnology, production, and characterization of nano and microemulsion systems and nanoparticles containing synthetic molecules and natural products, as well as studies of chemical stability and drug degradation kinetics in lipid medium.
