Shweta Meshram is an assistant professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. She obtained her master's degree in plant pathology/phytopathology from Banaras Hindu University (2013–2015) and doctor of philosophy in plant pathology/phytopathology from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (2016–2021). Her expertise is in the fields of pathogens, fungi, fungal biology, PCR, microbial molecular biology, plant pathology, phytopathology, plant protection, crop protection, and integrated pest management.
