Author Biographies

Dr. László Hazai is a professor at the Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He is a member of the Committee on Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry, the Alkaloid Chemistry Working Committee, and the Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology Working Committee. He was awarded the Géza Zemplén award in 2009, and Jenő Görög award in 2008 and 2022. His research interests are focused on the study of antitumor alkaloids, nitrogen heterocycles, and hybrid molecules.

Dr. Péter Keglevich is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2014. He is a member of the Alkaloid Chemistry Working Committee and the Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology Working Committee. His research interests are focused on the study of the expected production of biologically active alkaloid and flavonoid derivatives.
