Richard Derman is serving as the first Associate Provost for Global Affairs at Thomas Jefferson University. He is responsible for the overall coordination of global activities that include collaborative research, educational exchanges, and clinical initiation. He also directs the India Working Group, which includes his long-standing research collaborations with KLE University, Karnataka, India. He has authored/co-authored 212 publications, with 5552 citations and an h-index of 40 (Scopus, December 2023).
