Dr. Jacopo Galli is currently the Head of the Otorhinolaryngology Unit at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS in Rome, Italy, and is a Full Professor in the ENT Department at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. With a career beginning in 1995, Dr. Jacopo Galli has held various roles, including Research Worker, Associate Professor, and Clinical Assistant. Graduating with a specialization in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery in 1993, Dr. Jacopo Galli also earned a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1989 from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
Alberto Artuso graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome and subsequently specialized in otolaryngology at the same university. During his professional experience, he has worked as an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology in the Otolaryngology Department of the Gemelli Polyclinic Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome. He currently practices his profession as the Director of the Otolaryngology Department of Mater Olbia Hospital. He carries out specialist visits and surgical treatments aimed at the most widespread pathologies of the head and neck area, including pathologies of the nose and paranasal sinuses, neoformations of the head and neck area, and pathologies of the salivary glands.
Prof. Dr. Francesco Bussu, who holds an MD and a PhD specializing in otolaryngology, has held significant positions in the field. From 2004 to 2019, he served as an Assistant Professor in Otolaryngology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, alongside his role as an Otolaryngologist at Policlinico Agostino Gemelli from 2005 to 2017. In 2017, he became the Chief of the Otolaryngology Division at Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Sassari, Italy, where he currently holds the position. Additionally, since 2019, Prof. Dr. Francesco Bussu has been a Full Professor of Otolaryngology at Università di Sassari. His contributions extend to serving as an Expert for the European Commission in the Horizon 2020 program and the Third Health Program since 2014. With expertise spanning audiology, vestibology, and phoniatrics, he has conducted over 6000 surgical procedures, introducing innovative techniques in Italy, like the Labbè operation for facial paralysis rehabilitation. Notably, he has performed over 80 brachytherapy implants for head and neck malignancies, marking the largest series in Italy.
