Fang Liu has a position as an associate professor and a master’s tutor at the School of Nuclear Science and Engineering, North China Electric Power University. She has a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and is a postdoctoral fellow at the Radiation Detection Research Center of Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology. She mainly engaged in advanced scintillation crystal radiation detection technology and nuclear data acquisition and processing as well as teaching and research work. She is responsible for the construction and operation of the scintillation crystal radiation detection laboratory. She has published more than 20 SCI and EI-indexed papers in authoritative domestic and foreign journals and conferences such as Applied Physics Letters and Journal of Applied Physics, and she has authored 3 invention patents. She has presided over and participated in 13 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National “863” Program, the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Preliminary Research Project, and the Military Industry Preliminary Research Fund. In 2013, she was selected for the “Beijing Youth Talent Support Program” and the “North China Electric Power University Young Key Teacher Support Program”. In 2018, she was selected into the “Teaching Master Cultivation Program” of North China Electric Power University.
