Dr. Kyung Soo Jun is the Dean of the Graduate School of Water Resources at
the Sungkyunkwan University in Suwon, Korea. He is co-chair of Han River Presidential Water Commission of Korea. He has been a member of the Board of the Korea Federation of Water
Science and Engineering Society, and a member of the committee on Flood
Evaluation and Dam Safety of the International Commission on Large Dams
(ICOLD). He was co-editor-in-chief of the IAHR Journal of Hydro-environment Research, President of the Korea Water Resources Association,Vice-president of the Korea Society of Hazard Mitigation. He
received the Distinguished Membership Award from IAHR-APD in 2020. the Scientific Award from the Korea Federation of Water Science and
Engineering Society, the Scientific Award from the Korean Society of Civil
Engineers in 2010, and the Scientific Award from the Korea Water Resources
Association in 2009.
