Jiantao Qi is an Associate Professor at the College of New
Energy, China University of Petroleum (East China). He received his Master’s
degree in Process Equipment and Control Engineering at the China University of
Petroleum (East China) in 2012 and earned his Ph.D. in Corrosion and
Protection at the University of Manchester in 2015. He was a postdoc at the
University of Manchester (2015–2016) and a postdoc at the Centre National de la
Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) (2018). He is also a member of the Chinese
Society for Corrosion and Protection. Currently, his main research interests
are metal corrosion and surface modification, especially in the Raman
spectroscopy and electrochemical testing of surface interfaces.
