Marija Branković, MD, PhD has worked at the University Hospital Medical Center Bežanijska Kosa since 2003. She became an Internal Medicine specialist in 2006, a subspecialist in Gastroenterohepatology in 2023, and an Assistant Professor in the Medical Faculty at the University of Belgrade in 2023. She became the Chief of Staff of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University Hospital Medical Center Bežanijska Kosa in 2017 and the Assistant Director in charge of educational, scientific, and research activities in 2019. Her research keywords mainly focus on gastroenterology, IBD, MASLD/MASH, COVID-19, and hepatology.
