Dr. Laura Molteni received an MD degree in Biology in 2012 and a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience in 2017 at the University of Milano-Bicocca. From 2018 to 2022 she worked as a post-doc researcher in the pharmacology unit at the School of Medicine and Surgery (University of Milano-Bicocca), gaining a multi-year experience in the field of in vitro research. Currently, she works as a research fellow at the Experimental Neurology Unit collaborating in in vitro research projects on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy. She is a member of the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF) and the Milan Center for Neuroscience (NeuroMI).
Dr. Alessio Malacrida graduated in Medical Biotechnology in 2013 and in 2017 he obtained a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Milan Bicocca. Since 2018, he has been a post-doctoral fellow at the School of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan Bicocca. He is the author of 3 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include in vitro antitumoral effects of natural and synthetic compounds, isolation and characterization of active molecules from natural extracts, in vitro studies of molecular mechanisms involved in Chemotherapy-induced Peripheral Neuropathy, and sodium channel inhibitors in cancer cell migration and invasion.
Dr. Gabriella Nicolini is an Assistant Professor (Histology and Embriology) at the Experimental Neurology Unit, School of Medicine and Surgery, University of Milano-Bicocca in Monza, Italy.
