Dr. Oana Mihaela Plotogea has been a Gastroenterology specialist since 2019, with a residency at the Bucharest Emergency Clinical Hospital, and is a graduate of the "Carol Davila" Faculty of Medicine in Bucharest. She completed her Doctorate of Medical Sciences "Summa cum laude" with a thesis on "The impact of sleep disorders and neurocognitive dysfunctions on evolution patients with chronic liver diseases" in 2022. She has skills in abdominal ultrasound and diagnostic and therapeutic digestive endoscopy, and her areas of interest include inflammatory bowel diseases, digestive functional diseases, and hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases.
Dr. Madalina Stan-Ilie is Primary Gastroenterologist and specialist in internal medicine at the SANADOR Clinical Hospital and chief of works at the UMF "Carol Davila", Bucharest. Her fields of scientific interest are focused on digestive endoscopy, abdominal ultrasonography, liver biopsy puncture, and diagnostic and therapeutic echo-endoscopy. Like her colleagues, Dr. Stan-Ilie has multiple professional affiliations, both nationally and internationally, including Member of the European Gastroenterology Societies, President and Founding Member of the Romanian Youth Gastroenterology Group, Member of the European Crohn's and Colitis Organization, Member of ESGE (European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy), Member of ACG (American College of Gastroenterology), and Member of L’ Union Medicale Balkanique.
Dr. Vasile Sandru is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Gastroenterology, Clinical Emergency Hospital Bucharest. He is a highly skilled and experienced General physician, a gastroenterology specialist, and an Internal Medicine research assistant. He graduated from the "Sfantul Sava" National College, Bucharest, in 2010. Subsequently, he became an Internal Medicine Specialist at WHO in 2016, and a Medical Specialist in Gastroenterology in 2020. In 2022, he obtained a Doctorate of Medical Sciences "Magna cum laude" with a thesis on "Minimally invasive treatment by radiofrequency ablation in cholangiocarcinoma and the modern management of biliary strictures main". Furthermore, he is a member of the National Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, ASGE (American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy), ESGE (European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy), the European Pancreatic Club, etc.
Dr. Mariana Mihaila is a primary internal medicine physician at the Department of Internal Medicine, Fundeni Clinical Institute, Bucharest, Romania. She is a Doctor of Medical Sciences and a scientific researcher grade III. She has obtained a certificate of complementary studies and general ultrasonography and complementary studies in Health Services Management.
