Dr. Carlos Alberto Romero is currently affiliated with the School of Mechanical Technology, Faculty of Technology, Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira. He received his Master’s degree in Internal Combustion Engines from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) in 2007 followed by a PhD in Propulsion Systems in means of transport at the UPV (2005–2009). His research interests are focused on the study of Internal Combustion Engines, Engine Design, Machine Design, and Power Transmission testing.
Dr. Pablo Correa currently serves as a Researcher and Adjunct Professor at the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, Colombia. He graduated from Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira in 2005 and received his Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo in 2008 and 2018, respectively.
Dr. Diego Vergara currently works at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Catholic University of Ávila (Spain). In addition, he is a researcher at the Technology, Instruction and Design in Engineering and
Education Research Group (TiDEE.rg). He studied Materials Engineering at the University of Salamanca in 2000 and completed his Ph.D. studies at the same University in 2007. His research interests are focused on the study of technology-enhanced learning; virtual reality; augmented reality; metallography;
material characterization; mechanical behavior of materials; mechanical testing; materials testing; stress and strain analysis; fracture mechanics; fractography; corrosion science; finite element analysis; nuclear energy; and energy efficiency.
