Atif Hussein earned his degree in medicine from the American University of Beirut and his master’s degree in medical management from Tulane University. He completed his fellowship in Hematology Oncology at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida. He is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology. He chairs the Memorial Healthcare System’s Cancer Committee and Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee. He is currently the Program Director of the Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program at Memorial Healthcare System; a Clinical Affiliate Professor at the Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine; a Clinical Associate Professor at Florida International University Wertheim School of Medicine, and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has received grants and awards for his research in ovarian cancer and
chemotherapy, such as the American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Career Development Award.
Alejandra Ergle is a Breast Medical Oncologist at Memorial Healthcare System/Memorial Cancer Institute. She completed her MD (2013) at the College of Medicine, University of Florida. Before her current role, she was a Clinical Fellow at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (2016–2019) and a Resident Physician at the University of Florida (2013–2016).
