Dr. Alessandro Sticchi is an assistant professor of cardiology at the University of Pisa and a Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist at the Cisanello University-Hospital in Pisa. He is also a consultant and
researcher at the Humanitas University Hospital in Milan. He is on the Editorial Board of the PCROnline and participates in the PCRTricuspid Focus group. He is an active member of the major Italian and European scientific societies: SIC, ANMCO, GISE, ESC, EAPCI, and PCR. He was also a researcher/scientific assistant at the Inselspital University Hospital in Bern, Switzerland. He has participated as the lead author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications at the most
important national and international conferences in the cardiovascular field (SIC, ANMCO, ESC, TCT, EuroPCR).
Prof. Neil Ruparelia is a consultant cardiologist at Hammersmith Hospital. He received his medical degree from University College London in 2004 and also received an intercalated degree (BSc). He received a PhD from Balliol College, University of Oxford, funded by a British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship, and an MSc in interventional cardiology from the San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy. He was the winner of numerous prizes including the President’s Gold Medal in Cardiology from the Royal Society of Medicine and investigator prizes from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the American Heart Association (AHA). In 2017, he was awarded a fellowship by the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and appointed consultant cardiologist between Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, and
Hammersmith Hospital, London. In 2018, he was appointed honorary clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College London.
