Professor Dr. Vincenzo Guarino currently serves as the research director at IPCB-CNR. He holds a strong academic background, having earned a master’s in materials engineering and a PhD in materials engineering and production—biomaterials, both from the University of Naples Federico II. He oversees the Electrospinning and Microscopy Labs at IPCB-CNR Napoli and serves as the scientific coordinator of LaMEST at IPCB-CNR Pozzuoli. Professor Dr. Vincenzo Guarino’s research focuses on biomaterials and green polymer processing, particularly in fabricating micro- and nanostructured substrates for various health and biomedical applications. As a principal investigator of numerous national and international research projects, he has made significant contributions to the field, with over 160 scientific publications and 200 contributions at international/national conferences.
