Prof. dr hab. Valeriy Kuznetsov is a Professor at the Electric Energy Department, Railway Research Institute. He completed his PhD in Electric Transport at the Dniepropietrowsk National University of Railway Transport in 2002. Currently, he is working on issues in the field of traction power supply systems: dynamic cooperation between pantographs and contact lines, energy storage devices, reliability of power supply, etc. He is also the Director's Proxy at the Railway Research Institute, representative of Railway Research Institute in Organisation for Co-operation between Railways (OSJD).
Dr. Petro Hubskyi is affiliated with the Railway Research Institute.
He got his Master’s degree at the Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway
Transport in 2014 and completed his PhD studies in Power Supply Systems at the
same University in 2017, respectively. He was also the Specialist at the National
Mining University. His research interests include railway electrification, traction
power supplies, mathematical analysis, etc.
