Chunhui Wang currently works as an associate researcher, a Ph.D. and a master's tutor at the Insitute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In September 2016, he graduated with a Ph.D. from the School of Geography and Marine Sciences at Nanjing University. From October 2016 to September 2018, he engaged in full-time postdoctoral research at the School of Geography and Marine Sciences of Nanjing University. From August 2019 to August 2020, he conducted collaborative visiting research at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in the United States. In May 2023, he joined the Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main research directions include regional soil environmental quality and risk management and control, the emission, migration, distribution and health effect evaluation of emerging environmental pollutants. He is good at using laboratory chemical analysis, geographical information systems and other technical means to obtain relevant data. He is committed to revealing the impact of human activities on the urban environment and the health of the population through information such as the content and spatial distribution of pollutants (such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and heavy metals) in urban soil and other environmental media, thereby providing insights into the pollution control and sustainability of the urban environment.
Jing Song currently works as a PhD Tutor at the Insititute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received a Bachelor's degree at the Nanjing Agricultural University, a Master's degree at the Zhejiang University, Huajiachi Campus, and a Ph.D. at the Nanjing Soil Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He serves as a member of the Soil Environment Professional Committee of the Chinese Soil Society, the Environmental Geotechnical Engineering Professional Committee, the Jiangsu Society of Geomechanics and Engineering, the National Environmental Standards Expert Committee and The 14th Soil Quality Standardization Working Committee of the Chinese Soil Society. He is also the Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Soil Remediation Standardization Technical Committee. His research interests are soil environmental benchmarks and standards, contaminated soil physical and chemical remediation technology and soil sampling methods.
