Prof. Dr. K. Viktoria Stein is an Assistant Professor at the Leiden University Medical Centre, the Research Lead for the Health Centre Sitzenberg and Deputy Head of the institute. She has worked widely across the topics of integrated care design, implementation and evaluation, governance, and workforce competencies, among other topics. As a consultant, she collaborates with the World Bank, the WHO, and other international development corporations to support health promotion and prevention measures on all levels.
Prof. Dr. Thomas Ernst Dorner is head of the
Academy for Ageing Research and the Research and Teaching Department at Haus
der Barmherzigkeit (a non-profit health care
organisation offering long-term to people with chronic conditions). He heads the Karl Landsteiner Institute for Health Promotion Research. He
is Honory President of the Austrian Association for Public Health (ÖGPH). As an
Associate Professor in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine in the
Center for Public Health at the Medical University of Vienna, he headed the
Lifestyle & Prevention Unit. His research interests include gerontology,
health promotion research, health services research, social determinants of
health, health effects through lifestyle, and social aspects of chronic
illnesses, as well as determinants of work disability.
