Stanislav Petrik is an Associate Professor and Department Head (Department of Advanced Materials) at the Technical University of Liberec (since 2016). He obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Solid State Engineering from the Czech Technical University of Prague and a Ph.D. in Radio-Electronics from the Technical University Košice. He was the Head of the Research Department at PRECIOSA (1992-2006). He worked as CTO (2006-2008) and Strategy and Business Development Director (2009-2011) at Elmarco. His research interests include Optical Sensing, Textiles, Photonics, Applied Optics, Integrated Optics, Interferometry, Applied Physics, Nanotechnology, and Micro-optics.
Daisy Nestler is currently working at
the Technische Universität Chemnitz, Institute of Lightweight Structures. She has 136 publications with 736 citations (ResearchGate, 13 December).
