Spyridon Prountzos is a Radiologist at the 2nd Department of Radiology at the University General Hospital “Attikon”. He received an MD from the University of Crete in 2017 and is pursuing a Ph.D. in
the field of Pediatric Radiology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is devoted to General and Pediatric Radiology.
Maria Raissaki is currently an associate professor in pediatric radiology at Medical School, University of Crete, Greece; a member of the European Society of Pediatric Radiology (ESPR) Board and head of the ESPR Educational Committee; co-chair of the ESPR child abuse taskforce; a past member of the CORE committee for the European Board of Radiology; a member of the WFPI Educational Committee; a member of the editorial board of the Pediatric Radiology journal; an active member of the Hellenic Society of Radiology, Hellenic College of Radiology, European Society of Radiology (ESR); and ESPR. She has served as chair of the Pediatric Radiology subcommittee for ECR 2016 and a reviewer in six more medical journals. She finished her residency at the University Hospital of Heraklion and has sub-specialized in pediatric radiology at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, UK, in 1997–1998. She has been actively involved in and devoted to pediatric radiology and emergency radiology as a consultant radiologist and faculty member at the University Hospital of Heraklion, Medical School, University of Crete, Greece, since 1999.
Prof. Franz Wolfgang Hirsch is Director of the Institute of Pediatric Radiology, University Hospital, Leipzig, Germany. Since 2016, he has been an editorial board member of the journal “Pediatric Radiology” and has been a member of the board of the European Society of Paediatric Radiology
since 2017. He trained as a pediatrician in 1991 at University Hospital Halle, 1999–2002, as a senior physician at the University Radiology Clinic Halle, and then as the Professor in Radiology of Children Radiology University Hospital Leipzig. In 2009–2012, he was appointed as Chairman of the working group on pediatric radiology. His current research interests include lung MR and real-time MR in pediatric radiology.
Prof. Pierluigi Ciet is a Pediatric and Thoracic Radiologist at Erasmus MC. He earned an MD from the University of Padua in 2006 and a PhD from Erasmus MC in 2021. He completed a residency in radiology between 2007 and 2011. He spent about one year as a Clinical Fellow at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) at Harvard Medical School.
