Dr. Fernando Ramasco is currently the Head of the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Section at the La Princesa University Hospital, Madrid, and the Head of Studies (Chief Resident) of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the Hospital Universitario de la Princesa, Madrid. He obtained his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cantabria (Santander Faculty of Medicine) in July 1990, with an average of Remarkable in his studies. He studied in the Specialty in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the University Hospital of La Paz (Madrid) (1992–1996) and completed Doctorate Courses (32 credits) at the Department of Surgery of the Autonomous University of Madrid (1996). These things considered, he has in his history more than 65 participations in International and National Congresses, member of the Editorial Board of the electronic journal AnestesiaR (2009 and 2012), reviewer of the REDAR (Spanish Journal of Anesthesia and Reanimation), and participation in 20 periodical publications referring to the specialty, 14 chapters of books on anesthesia, and 4 complete books directed and coordinated by him.
