Professor Rustam Shadiev works at the College of Education, Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China). He earned a Ph.D. from Taiwan Central University in 2012. He is now the Guest Editor of the Special Issue "The Use of Digital Technology for Sustainable Teaching and Learning" and the Section Board Member of the journal Education Sciences for MDPI. His research interests mainly focus on advanced learning technologies, cross-cultural education and language learning, mobile-assisted learning, and open and distance learning. His scientific output includes 141 publications, corresponding to 2205 citations (h-index 27) (Scopus, 6 December 2023). Professor Rustam Shadiev is a Research Fellow of INTI International University, Malaysia, a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT, Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He received the Most Cited Chinese Researchers award for exceptional research performance in the field of Education by Elsevier, Scopus, and Shanghai Rating in 2020, 2021, and 2022, respectively.
Miss Wayan Sintawati is a PhD degree student at the School of Education Science, Nanjing Normal University (Nanjing, China). She is currently involved in research on technology-supported cross-cultural learning and artificial intelligences and its applications to education.
