Dr. Morana Dulic is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Biochemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia, where she received her Diploma in Molecular Biology and her Ph.D. degree in 2006 and 2012, respectively. Her research interests are proofreading aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, enzyme kinetics, thermodynamics, and molecular evolution.
Vlatka Godinic-Mikulcic is a Protein Biochemist at the Division of Biochemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, Croatia, and an Associate Researcher at the Miroslav Krleža Institute of Lexicography. She received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and her M.S. in Molecular Biology at the University of Zagreb. Then, she completed her postdoctoral research at the Ruđer Bošković Institute. She is also a member of the Croatian Microbiological Society and the Croatian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Dr. Jasmina Rokov-Plavec is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Biochemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia, where she received her Diploma in Molecular Biology and her Ph.D. degree in 1998 and 2004, respectively. She is interested in the structure, function, and evolution of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, with an emphasis on plant seryl-tRNA synthetases (SerRS). She studies intracellular localization of proteins, substrate specificity, protein-protein interactions, and the role of plant SerRS in cellular stress response. She is a member of the Croatian Society of Plant Biology, the Croatian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and was a member of the Executive Board of the Croatian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2013–2021). She was Head of the Division of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb (2018–2020) and is currently Head of the Laboratory for Enzyme Kinetics and Preparative Biochemistry of the Center of Excellence in Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.
