Prashant
Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor at Mizoram University, Aizawl, India, and
a Researcher at the Agricultural Research Organization (ARO), Rishon LeZion,
Israel. He earned his Master of Science inĀ
Botany and Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Biology at Banaras Hindu
University. His primary research work focuses on plant and cyanobacterial
stress physiology, as well as developmental biology, utilizing the omics approach
to decode and target signaling, regulatory, and metabolic networks
(including epigenetic modifications).
Rajeshwar P. Sinha, a DAAD Fellowship awardee and a Fellow of the Society
for Applied Biotechnology, India, is a Professor of Molecular Biology, at the CAS in
Botany, at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India. He received his
Ph.D. (Biotechnology) from BHU, Varanasi. Throughout his academic career, he has visited countries such as Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Germany, Greece, France, Italy,
Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Republic of Korea, Spain, Switzerland, The
Netherlands, UK and USA, contributing to the field of academics/research. His current research focuses on UV radiation effects on aquatic ecosystems (DNA damage and repair, phycobiliproteins,
mycosporine-like amino acids, and scytonemin). He has published over 300
research papers/reviews/book chapters and edited/authored 7 books. He has over
9000 citations, with an h-index of 46 (Scopus, 27 November 2023).
