Ana Sevilla is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cell Biology, Physiology and Immunology, Faculty of Biology, University of Barcelona. She completed her Ph.D. studies at the Cancer Research Center—Centro de Investigacion del Cancer (CIC) in 2006. She was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Mount Sinai Medical Center (2006–2007), a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Mount Sinai School of
Medicine (2007–2013), and a Staff Scientist at The New York Stem Cell Foundation (2013–2018). Afterward, she joined the University of Barcelona in 2018. She is interested in stem cell development, disease modeling with CRISPR-Cas9, and drug discovery.
