Dr. Sandica Bucurica, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Gastroenterology, "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest. She is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist with research interests in therapeutic endoscopy, digestive system endoscopy, endomicroscopy, EUS, gastrointestinal endoscopy, liver diseases, microbiota and nutrition, gastrointestinal diseases, and endoscopic ultrasound.
Prof. Constantin Caruntu is a Full Professor at the Department of Physiology, Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. He is also a senior dermatologist at the "N. Paulescu" National Institute of Diabetes, Nutrition, and Metabolic Diseases, Bucharest, Romania. He received his MD at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2000 and obtained his PhD at the same university in 2012. His research interests include in vivo confocal microscopy, physiology and physiopathology of the skin and oral mucosa, dermato-oncology, inflammatory skin diseases, neurogenic inflammation, and neuroendocrinology of the skin and oral mucosa. He has 116 publications in peer-reviewed journals with 2651 citations and an h-index of 29 (Scopus, 1 December 2023).
Prof. Ana Caruntu is a Full Professor at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dental Medicine, "Titu Maiorescu" University, Bucharest. Her research interests include headn and neck cancer, carcinogenesis, prognostic biomarkers. She is the author of more than 50 articles published in international, indexed journals.
Dr. Cristian Scheau is an Associate Professor at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. His research interests include carcinogenesis, inflammation, medical imaging, physiology, molecular signaling, and MR spectroscopy. He is the author of more than 60 articles published in international, indexed journals.
