Maria Nieddu works at the Department of Medicine Surgery and Pharmacy, University of Sassari, Sassari, Italy. She graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Sassari in 1998. She received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology of Xenobiotics from the University of Sassari in 2003 and carried out a research contract about pharmaceutical analysis at the University of Sassari from 2003 to 2004. Subsequently, she was appointed as a post-doc on the analysis of drugs and metabolites in biological matrices at the University of Sassari (2006–2010). Since 2017, she has taught Chemical and Pharmaceutical Analysis at the University of Sassari. Her research focuses on analyzing drugs and metabolites in biological matrices, with a particular interest in the forensic field.
