Dr. Xuemei Liu is a Ph.D. recipient from the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is now a Research Assistant at the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology Ecology, CAS. She has 19 publications with 418 citations and an h-index of 9 (Scopus, 27 December, 2023). Her research interests include lake ecohydrology, hydrodynamic-water and quality-water ecology simulation, water resource management, and algae bloom.
Dr. Yanfeng Wu is a researcher in the hydrological services of wetlands, Wetland eco-hydrological processes, Hydrological modeling, Climate change, Flood, and drought. His educational experience includes a Master in the College of Grassland and Environmental Science, Xinjiang Agricultural University from 3 September 2013 to 1 July 2016; a Ph.D. in the Key Laboratory of Wetland Ecology and Environment, Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology Chinese Academy of Sciences from 13 September 2016 to 1 July 2020. During his doctoral studies, he went to the National Research Council of Canada, in Canada, to conduct a one-year joint doctoral program of research. His career experience includes Assistant Professor, at the Key Laboratory of Wetland Ecology and Environment, Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2022. His main focus is on wetland hydrological modeling, climate change, and drought variation. He has been published by more that 30 papers relating to modeling of wetland hydrology, assessment on hydrological services of wetlands, evolution of droughts and driving factors, and supply and requirement of agricultural water resources.
Prof. Dr. Guangxin Zhang is a member of the Chinese Working Committee of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), the Board of Directors of the Chinese Society of Natural Resources, the Deputy Director of the Water Resources Committee, a member of the First Council of the National Wetland Research Centre, a member of the Wetland Committee of the Chinese Ecological Society, and a Deputy Director of the Jilin Meteorological Society. In addition, he is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Geographical Research and other journals. He is mainly engaged in the research of water resources and the water environment, wetland ecohydrology, and groundwater management, etc. He has hosted more than 30 research projects.
