Marouane Baslam received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Navarra in 2012. He currently holds the position of Professor at Niigata University (Japan) and is an entrepreneur leading a biotech startup. Additionally, he serves as a Visiting Professor at Cadi Ayyad University (Morocco), bringing valuable expertise from previous roles at the AgroBiotechnology Institute (IdAB) and industry. His research interests include Plant–Microbe–Environment Interactions; Bioengineering and Biotechnology, (Bio)fertilizers/Biostimulants; Crop Biomass and Sustainability; System Biology; and Cellular–Molecular Biology. His scientific accomplishments include 71+ publications corresponding to 2089 citations with an h-index of 29 (Scopus, 18 December 2023).
