Kevin Doello is a Specialist in Medical Oncology at the Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital and a Researcher in Translational and Basic Biomedicine at the Institute of Biopathology and Regenerative Medicine. He received his Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Master's degree in Regenerative Biomedicine and Doctor of Biomedicine at the University of Granada, in 2015, 2017 and 2022, respectively.
Consolacion Melguizo is a full professor at the Department
of Anatomy and Embryology at the University of Granada, sub-director of the
Biomedical Research Center (CIBM) from Granada), and Director of the Master of
Regenerative Biomedicine at the University of Granada. She is a member of the
CT-107 Group of Junta de Andalucia. Her research activity in the field of basic
oncology began in 1991. During these 29 years, her research has focused on
cancer, specifically on the development of new therapeutic strategies based on
nanomedicine, gene therapy, and resistance to anticancer drugs. She has
participated in 16 research contracts with companies in the biomedical area and
in 50 research projects of which he has led IP 20. She has also developed 13
patents related to new cancer therapeutic strategies. This work has allowed her
to carry out regular and intense research, producing numerous publications,
book chapters, communications to conferences, etc., that have allowed her to
obtain five six-year periods of research and one six-year period of transfer. Her
teaching disciplines include Human Anatomy, Regenerative Biomedicine, and DNA
Technology, among others. She has been awarded seven research awards, among which is
the I Health Research Award of the Andalusian Autonomous Community. She has been
the director or co-director of 20 doctoral theses, most of them with international
quality mention.
Gloria Perazzoli is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Anatomy and Embryology, University of Granada. She received her Bachelor of Biology, M.Sc. in Regenerative Biomedicine, and Ph.D. at the University of Granada, in 2008, 2010, and 2014, respectively. Her research is focused on basic oncology and its application to the clinic.
Jose Prados currently works at the Institute of Biopathology
and Regenerative Medicine (IBIMER), Biomedical Research Center (CIBM). He is
the coordinator of the oncology area of the Instituto de Investigacion
Biosanitaria de Granada (Ibs. Granada), director of the CTS-107 research Group of
Junta de Andalucia, director of the A01 Group of Ibs. Granada, full professor and
director of the Department of Anatomy and Embryology of the Faculty of Medicine
of the University of Granada, and a member of the Academic Commission of the
Master of Regenerative Biomedicine of the University of Granada. He received
his Ph.D. in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Granada in 1993.
He is a researcher in basic oncology and its application to the clinic since 1990. He
has participated in 56 research projects with competitive funding, of which he
has led IP 25 and has developed 17 research contracts with companies in the
biomedical area. He has also developed 14 patents related to new therapeutic
strategies in the field of gene therapy, nanomedicine, natural products for the
treatment of cancer, and new biomarkers in the diagnosis and/or prognosis of
cancer. He has been awarded seven research awards, among which is the I Health
Research Award of the Andalusian Autonomous Community. He has been the director or
co-director of 23 doctoral theses, most of them with international quality
mention.
