Yang is an Instructor in Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He
received a BS in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and a
Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the Medical College of Wisconsin. His Ph.D.
was in platelet redox signaling in arterial thrombosis as it relates to
dyslipidemia. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Medical
College of Wisconsin and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he
focused on the role of thiol isomerases in thrombosis and hemostasis.
Additionally, he focused on understanding the dynamics of in vivo thrombus
formation in murine models using intravital microscopy. He has co-authored several
peer-reviewed articles and presented his work numerous times at national
