Olguța Anca Orzan is a University Assistant at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania. She completed her Ph.D. at the Faculty of General Medicine, Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She is also a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), the International Dermoscopy Society, the Romanian Society of Dermatology, and the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology.
Carmen Monica Preda is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” (UMPCD), Bucharest, Romania. She graduated from UMPCD in September 1997, and since then, she received training in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology, ultrasonography, and digestive endoscopy through a great number of post-graduated courses. The experience gained during years of activity is reflected in the publication of several scientific articles, most of them addressing the issue of inflammatory bowel diseases and chronic hepatitis B. She has worked as a study coordinator and sub-investigator in 14 multicentric international trials, most of them dedicated to inflammatory bowel diseases. She is a member of five prestigious scientific or professional organizations: the Romanian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the Romanian Society of Endoscopy, the Romanian Crohn’s and Colitis
Club, the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (ECCO), and the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL). She has obtained five important prizes at national scientific congresses and symposiums.
