Edoardo Agosti is currently a PGY5 Resident in Neurosurgery at the Division of Neurosurgery, Department of Medical and Surgical Specialties, Radiological Sciences and Public Health, University of Brescia, Brescia, Italy. He is part of a proficient, multidisciplinary team dedicated to endoscopic endonasal skull base surgery. His major interests in clinical and research work are skull base and cerebrovascular pathologies. Since medical school, he has received training from internationally renowned experts in endoscopic endonasal and vascular surgery. Pinheiro-Neto, and in Neurovascular Pathologies and Neurovascular Surgery with Dr. Giuseppe Lanzino at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA, in 2021–2022. Further, in 2019 he completed 2 months of International Observership in Open Vascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery with Prof. Giuseppe Lanzino, and in 2023 an observership period of 1 month in Skull Base Surgery at the Neurosurgery Department of Hopital Lariboisière in Paris directed by Prof. Froelich. He has served as an ad hoc reviewer for international journals and is an active member of the Italian Society of Neurosurgery and Italian Skull Base Society (2021–). He received a research grant in 2021 from the Beretta Foundation of Brescia for the 12-month project: “Research in cerebral oncology”.
Sara Antonietti is a 5th year medical student at the University of Brescia, Brescia, Italy. In October 2023, she started her internship at the Department of Neurosurgery, Spedali Civili, Brescia, where she has attended preoperative diagnostic evaluation of a patient candidate for neurosurgery and demonstration in clinical orientation in major neurosurgical conditions.
