Dr. Adham do Amaral e Castro has been working as a medical doctor in the musculoskeletal radiology group at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (São Paulo, Brazil) since March 2017. He has also been a medical doctor in Universidade Federal de São Paulo (São Paulo, Brazil) since August 2016, working in the musculoskeletal radiology sector of the Diagnostic Imaging Department—DDI/ EPM-UNIFESP. His research interest mainly focuses on musculoskeletal radiology. His scientific output includes 27 publications, corresponding to 102 citations (h-index 5) (Scopus, 6 December 2023).
Prof. Dr. Alexandre Godoy-Santos has been working in Universidade de São Paulo (São Paulo, Brazil) since 2002. He now is the guest editor of the Special Issue "Imaging Diagnosis of Foot and Ankle Injuries" in MDPI. His research interests mainly focus on foot and ankle, trauma, cartilage, sports medicine, and replacement. His scientific output includes 123 publications, corresponding to 833 citations (h-index 16) (Scopus, 6 December 2023).
Dr. Atul Kumar Taneja is an assistant professor at the Musculoskeletal Radiology Division of UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Taneja is originally from Brazil and received his initial medical training at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina. Drawn by the opportunity for integration of medicine and diagnostics, he completed his radiology residency at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) and fellowships in neuroradiology at Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and in musculoskeletal radiology at Hospital do Coracao (HCor) and Teleimagem,
in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Taneja underwent advanced training in musculoskeletal radiology through an observer fellowship at University of California San Diego (UCSD) and a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Taneja is an active member of the International Skeletal Society (ISS), American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), having participated as lecturer, moderator, and committee member for many
international scientific meetings. With more than 40 peer-reviewed published articles in leading journals of his field, he also serves as associate editor for BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders and as reviewer for many specialized journals. During his career, he was awarded the Merit Honor Medal, the Ralph Schlaeger Award, and earned a Ph.D. degree.
