Dr. Roy A. Poblete is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology within the Division of Stroke and Neurocritical Care of Keck Medicine of the University of Southern California. His clinical practice is as a neurointensivist at the Los Angeles General Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. His research interest is in diagnostics and therapeutics in neurocritical care, with a special interest in traumatic brain injury and intracerebral hemorrhage.

Dr. Zhaoyang Fan is a tenured Associate Professor of Radiology and Director of Magnetic Resonance (MR) Imaging Research at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC). He holds a joint appointment at the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Radiation Oncology. He is also a full member of the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Before joining USC, he was an Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Technical Director of 3-Tesla MR at the institution's Research Imaging Core, with affiliate faculty appointments at the Departments of Bioengineering and Medicine, University of California. He received his bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
Dr. Nerses Sanossian is a Professor of Neurology (Clinical Scholar) at the University of Southern California. In addition to Neurology and Vascular Neurology, he is board-certified in Neuroimaging through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. His primary clinical research interest is in emergency evaluation and treatment of stroke focusing on the prehospital arena. Other research interests include imaging of stroke and transient ischemic attack as well as stroke prevention in the underserved.
Amytis Towfighi, Associate Professor of Neurology (Clinical Scholar), is Director of
Neurological Services for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and Associate Chief Medical Officer of Neurological Services and Chief of Neurology at LA General Medical Center. She received her bachelor degree from MIT and MD from Johns Hopkins, completed internship at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Neurology Residency at the Harvard Partners Neurology Program (MGH and Brigham and Women’s Hospital), and Neurovascular Fellowship at UCLA. She has published extensively on sex, race/ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in stroke, and is currently testing two interventions designed to address disparities in post-stroke care. She received the prestigious Robert G. Siekert New Investigator in Stroke Award from the American Heart Association and Michael S. Pessin Stroke Leadership Prize from the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Patrick D. Lyden is a Professor of Physiology and Neuroscience and Neurology at the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute in the Keck School of Medicine at USC. He is the Chair of the Stroke Council of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. He has been elected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, American Neurology Association, American Heart Association, and the European Stroke Organization. In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious William M. Feinberg Award for Excellence in Clinical Stroke by the American Heart Association.
