Dr. Bibo Li is a Professor of Biological Science. She received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Peking University in Beijing, P. R. China, and her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Cornell University Medical College (currently Weill Cornell Medicine) in NYC, USA. Dr. Bibo Li received her postdoc training with Dr. Titia de Lange and was a research assistant professor at Dr. George Cross' lab at Rockefeller University. She has been a faculty member of the Center for Gene Regulation in Health and Disease and the Department of Biological, Geological, and Environmental Sciences at Cleveland State University since 2006. Dr. Bibo Li’s research lies in the chromosome biology and molecular parasitology fields, focusing on telomere functions in genome stability maintenance, gene expression regulation, and antigenic variation. Her teaching disciplines include Molecular Biology and Genetics, Genetics, and Epigenetics.
