Albert A. Rizvanov is a Professor and Director of the Center for Precision and Regenerative Medicine, Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology, Kazan Federal University. He completed his Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Nevada in 2003. He is the principal investigator of more than 50 grants supported by NATO, the British Council, the Russian Science Foundation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, and other Russian government federal programs and industry contracts. His fields of expertise include regenerative medicine, precision medicine, gene and cell therapy, molecular neurobiology, molecular virology, and cancer diagnostics and therapy. He has 485 publications with 6431 citations and an h-index of 42 (Scopus, 10 November 2023).
