Emanuele Bartolini is a Researcher and Clinical Consultant in the area of Clinical Neurophysiology and Intensive Neurophysiological Monitoring, at IRCCS Foundation Stella Maris, Pisa. He has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and neurological diseases in children and adults. His professional profile includes clinical and research experiences in the United Kingdom (National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Society of Epilepsy, London) and Italy (University of Pisa, A. Meyer Pediatric Hospital—Florence, IMAGO7 Foundation, and IRCCS Stella Maris Foundation—Pisa). He held an institutional role in the Technical–Scientific Secretariat of the Tuscany Region Pediatric Ethics Committee and the Neuroimaging Commission of the Italian League against Epilepsy. He is currently a member of the ENIGMA-Epilepsy Consortium and the Epilepsy Climate Change Consortium. He collaborates with international scientific journals as an editorial board member and reviewer. He is the author of numerous publications in indexed scientific journals.
Sara Calderoni obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pisa in 2002 (110/110), a specialization in Child Neuropsychiatry in 2007 (cum laude), and a PhD in Basic and Developmental Neurosciences in 2011. In 2018, she obtained the National Scientific Qualification for the role of second-level professor in the Scientific Disciplinary Sector MED/39—Child Neuropsychiatry. She is the author and co-author of 87 publications (65 articles in extenso in journals with IF, 16 articles in extenso in journals without IF, four book chapters, and two book reviews) with a total of 926 citations and an H-index of 17 (Scopus ). She was awarded three different international awards (one in 2014 and two in 2015) and was invited as a speaker to 39 national and international conferences. She was responsible for five research projects and participated as a research assistant in nine national and international projects. Since 2013, she has taught various degree courses at the University of Pisa.
