Asma’a Al-Mnayyis is an Associate Professor of radiology and an MSK radiologist at Yarmouk University since 2017. She previously worked in an Internship at King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) (2005-2006) and was a Radiology Resident in KAUH (2006-2010), a Radiologist at Jordan University of Science and Technology (2010-2012), and a Radiologist at Mutah University (2012-2015). She underwent an MSK radiology fellowship in Milan, Italy (2015-2017).

Giustino Varrassi was a full professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine at L’Aquila University, Italy during 1985–2011. He is a founding member of the European Pain Federation (EFIC®) and the past-President of the European League Against Pain (EuLAP®). He is the current President of the Paolo Procacci Foundation, Roma, Italy. He has spent all his life serving public institutions, first at the University of Roma, and then at the University of L’Aquila (Italy). For more than 10 years, he has been a member of the National Commission for Pain Medicine and Palliative Care. He has also contributed to the preparation and diffusion of the National Law on Pain and Palliative Care ((Law 38/2010). He started his academic career as a researcher at Yeshiva University, at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York (USA). For a large part of his scientific life, his main interest has been pain medicine and also investigating the social aspects of pain in patients. In his retirement as Full Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia, he has re-discovered his old passion: publications and the diffusion of scientific information. He has authored hundreds of peer-reviewed academic publications, contributed to dozens of medical books, is Editor-in-Chief of two leading scientific journals, and has been an invited speaker at over 500 medical conferences worldwide.
