Dr. Hassam Ali, MD, is a First Year Fellow of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition, ECU Health Medical Center/Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University. He graduated from the Quaid-e-Adam Medical College (Punjab, Pakistan). His research interests include Advanced Endoscopy, Endo-bariatrics, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics.
Taha Siddiqui is a Resident Internal Medicine Physician at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell at Mather Hospital He received his MD from St. George’s University (2023) and a BS from the New York Institute of Technology. He spent one year and seven months at NYC Health + Hospitals as a Medical Student between 2021 to 2023.
Dr. Dushyant Singh Dahiya is a Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Motility Fellow at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Saginaw, Michigan. He earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He is highly interested in clinical research and aims to be an academic gastroenterologist. He is currently working on numerous clinical research projects in the field of gastroenterology.
Pratik Patel is a Chief Gastroenterology Fellow at Mather Hospital. He received his MD from the American University of the Caribbean in 2015 and a BA from the University of Florida. He worked as an Internal Medicine Resident and Chief Resident at East Carolina University and a Transplant Hepatology Fellow at the University of South Florida.
Hans Tillmann is an Associate Professor at East Carolina University and a Staff Physician at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. He received his MD from Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in 1992. He spent about 12 years at Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, receiving training in GI/Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology and being responsible for the Diagnostic Laboratory for viral hepatitis (and autoimmune liver disease) till 2009. He worked as a Professor of Medicine at Leipzig University and an Associate Professor at Duke University. His research interests are Drug Induced Liver Injury, Viral hepatitis, and Liver Health Outcomes.
