Jie Cheng Ph.D. currently works as an Associate Researcher and a Master Tutor at the College of Food and Biological Engineering, Chengdu University, Meat Processing Key Lab of the Sichuan Province. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Technology at the Chongqing University. His research directions include computer-aided (semi-)rational design of enzyme molecules, synthetic biology, and microbial metabolism regulation in meat products.
