Sm Abu Saleah received a B.Sc. degree in telecommunication and electronic engineering from the Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur, Bangladesh, and an M.Sc. degree in information technology from the Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, in 2023. His research interests include the development of novel biological and biomedical imaging techniques, including optical coherence tomography, photoacoustic tomography, and microscopy, and their clinical applications.

Ruchire Eranga Wijesinghe is currently working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Materials and Mechanical Technology at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is the leading researcher of the OPTOMAXIMA Lab. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea, and continued working towards a Master’s combined Ph.D. degree at the same institution. From 2012 to 2018, he worked as a full-time researcher at the Nanobiophotronics Laboratory and the Photoacoustics and Optics Laboratory, and from 2018–2020, he worked as an Assistant Professor. He mainly worked on developing non-destructive optical imaging techniques and instrumentation, optical signal analysis, and clinical translation for extensive medical, industrial, and agricultural research areas.

Jeehyun Kim received his Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, TX, USA, in 2004. He was a post-doctoral researcher with the Beckman Laser Institute at the University of California at Irvine. He is currently a Professor at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, College of IT Engineering, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Republic of Korea. His research interests are in biomedical imaging and sensing, neuroscience studies using multiphoton microscopy, photo-acoustic imaging, and other novel applications of sensors.
Mansik Jeon received the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea, in 2011. He is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Kyungpook National University. His research interests include the development of nonionizing and noninvasive novel biomedical imaging techniques, including photoacoustic tomography, photoacoustic microscopy, optical coherence tomography, ultrasonic imaging, handheld scanner, and their clinical applications.
