Dr. Franz Duca, MD, Ph.D., is a doctor-in-training in the Division of Cardiology at the Department of Medicine II, Medical University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria). His research interests include cardiac amyloidosis, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, heart failure, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
Dr. Philipp Bartkois a doctor at the Department of Internal Medicine II, Medical University of
Vienna (Vienna, Austria). He has worked at the Institute for Heart Vascular and Stroke
Care, Corrigan Minehan Heart Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, as a postdoctoral
research fellow. He obtained his PhD in Cardiology from Internal Medicine II, Medical
University of Vienna, in 2013. His research interests include mitral valve regurgitation, leaflet, tricuspid valve disease.
Prof. Dr. Jutta Bergler-Klein is a Professor at the Medizinische Universitat Wiendisabled (Vienna, Austria), and also a Senior Physician in the Department of Cardiology and Head of the General Cardiac Outpatient Clinic, University Clinic for Internal Medicine II, MedUni Vienna/Vienna General Hospital. She is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, the Heart Failure Association, and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging. She has a DFP advanced training diploma. Her interests include echocardiography, cardiac imaging, etc.
Dr. Christian Nitsche, MD, Ph.D., Intermediate Research Fellow, is a doctor-in-training in the Division of Cardiology at the Department of Medicine II, Medical University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria). His research interests include improving outcome predictions in valvular heart disease using multimodality imaging.
