Dr. Chao Yang is an Assistant Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a Bachelor's degree in 2010 and completed his PhD studies at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2012 to 2017. His research interests include intelligent material design and manufacturing. He has 49 publications in peer-reviewed journals with 932 citations and an h-index of 19 (Scopus, 12 December 2023).
Da Shu is a Professor at the Institute of Solidification Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong
University. He received his BSc (1994) from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) and his MSc (1997) and PhD (2001) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). His has been a Postdoc (2001), Lecturer (2003) and Associate Professor (2008) at SJTU. He was an academic visitor at the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford in UK from 2009 to 2010. His research interests include liquid metal processing, solidification, and the processing of advanced materials.
Baode Sun is a Professor at the Institute of Solidification Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He earned his BS and MS from Northwest Polytechnic University in 1984 and 1990, respectively. He received his PhD from the same university in 1993 and he finished a postdoctoral program at Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1995. He was an Associate Professor from 1995 to 1998 at Shanghai Jiaotong University. His research interests include fundamental and applied aspects of liquid metal processing, i.e., molecular dynamic modeling of liquid metal structures, the manufacturing of ultra-purity Al and Al alloys using electromagnetic filtration, and investment casting of large-size thin-wall structural components.
